It is with most sincere sympathy that we formally announce the passing of, Ms. Julia Smiley.  Ms. Smiley passed on Saturday, September 16,2017 at Archbold Medical Center.

Julia Mariah Smiley was born on June 1, 1919 to the late Tina Kelly and the late Harry Conyers.  She was educated in the Decatur County School System.  She was a devoted wife to the late Johnny Lee Smiley, a dedicated mother to her children, a nurturing grandmother to her grandchildren, and a Spiritual Member of St. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.  She dedicated her life to Christ early in life and remained a powerful Prayer Warrior until the day that God called her home to rest in His Kingdom. 

Survivors include one Daughter, Cynthia Manuel (James) of Miami, Florida; three Sons:  John A. Smiley (Odester), Thomas E. Smiley (Deloris), both of Attapulgus, Georgia and Joseph E. Smiley (Jessie) of Tallahassee, Florida; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, god children and friends.
