It is with deepest sympathy that we announce the passing of Ms. Lillie M. Tise.  Ms. Tise had her transition on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Lillie Clifford Maxwell Powell Tise was born to the late Isaiah"Bose" Maxwell and Martha Clifford Walden Maxwell on January 19, 1932. Lillie Clifford, or "Sista", was educated in the Grady County School System . She briefly attended Albany State College in Albany , Georgia. She worked in the Grady County School District as a Teacher's Aide and as a Librarian's Aide for many years. Lillie joined Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She was a diligent worker on the Usher Board. 

Lillie Clifford leaves to remember and cherish her Strength, Love, and Devotion to her six children. Otis Powell Jr.,Clifford (Debra)Powell Sr., Terrell (Novella) Tise , Vanessa (Bill)Brown all of Cairo, Georgia. Allen(Fannetta)Powell Sr., Thomasville Georgia., Sharon (Vance)McLeod Sr., Melbourne Florida. She leaves her beloved  twin brother Willie(Lucille)Maxwell of Cairo, Georgia. Also, Lillie leaves a myriad number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren with which she had a special relationship. She leaves nieces and nephews, cousins and friends .
