It is with a humble heart that we announce the passing of Mr. Ruebine Daniels who passed at his residence. Mr. Daniels gained his heavenly wings and took flight on Sunday May 14, 2017.
Brother Ruebine Daniels was born on January 6, 1954 to the late George and Ada C. Daniels in Cairo, GA. “Sonny” as he was affectionately called by his family and friends loved his entire family: children, siblings, uncles, aunts, first cousins, and the remaining generations. Sonny confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at Greater New Corinth M.B. Church. Sonny graduated from Cairo High School in 1973. Sonny enjoyed and stayed connected with is classmates.
He left Cairo to begin a new chapter in life. He lived in New York the majority of his adult life where he had several occupations. His last being 20+ years with Con Edison of New York. Sonny returned to Cairo to begin another chapter of his life. He reacquainted himself with the Greater New Corinth Church where he served as a Trustee and a member of the Usher ministry.
Sonny leaves loved ones to cherish memories: his devoted friend, Teresa Gee Harris of Cairo, GA.; his five children, Jaeson (Banita) Daniels of Atlanta, GA., Kyle Daniels of Atlanta, GA., Trevia Daniels of Tampa, FL., Shawanda Daniels of Clearwater, FL., Rasheeda Daniels of New York; five grandchildren, SPC Stephen Q’ran of Ft. Benning, GA., Skyler Daniels and Carter Daniels both of Atlanta, GA., and Austin Turner and Ashe Wilson- Robinson both of New York; sisters, Annette (Ulysee) Spence, Allie Daniels, Devorah Daniels, and Gladys (Jonas) Bowden all of Cairo, GA., Mary Herring of New York; Brother, George Daniels of New York; aunts and uncles, Deloise Parker of Cairo, GA., Stella Mann of Lumberton, NC., Ernest (Sarah) Cooper of Miami, FL., Sammie (Pam) Cooper of Cairo, GA. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friend Roger Pierce, Sr. of Cairo, GA.
One brother, James Calvin Daniels, preceded Ruebine Daniels in death.
