Eunice G. Addison

The arms of our Lord now surround this loving Addison Family as they say a loving farewell to their beloved: Mother Eunice G. Addison.  Mother Addison passed on Sunday , September 1, 2019. 

Mother Eunice G. Addison was born on January 16, 1944, in Climax, Georgia to the late Johnnie and Ellan Gibson.

Mother Addison graduated in 1961 from the Decatur County School System. She later married, the love of her life, of 54 years, Deacon Douglas Addison, Sr.  She worked locally at W.B. Roddenberry Company until retirement. As a devoted member of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church she sung in the choir and later became Mother of the church. On September 1, 2019, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, she transitioned to Heaven.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Johnnie Gibson, Jr., Bernice Knight, Martha Harrell and Mary Bryant.

She leaves to cherish her memories… Her Loving Husband: Deacon Douglas Addison, Sr. Her Sons: Douglas Addison, Jr (Tracy), Michael Addison, Sr. and Stacy Addison, Sr.

Her Daughter: Subrina Mathews (Donald); Her In-Laws: Bishop Ruben Addison, Sr., Sister Lillie Mae Robinson, Annie Mae Turner, Julia Griffin, Martha Addison. Betty Addison, Louise Armstrong and Minister Barbara Allen.

 several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
