It is with a humble heart that we announce the passing of Ms. Ruby Jackson who passed on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Bainbridge Healthcare in Bainbridge, Ga. 

Mrs. Ruby Jackson was born on December 15, 1936 in Whigham, Georgia to the late Hudson and Ophelia Addison.  She attended the Grady County School system, and she was married to the late Martin Jackson for 44 years.  Ruby Mae Jackson departed this world on April 6, 2017 in Bainbridge, Georgia.

            Ruby leaves to cherish her memories, Eight sons, Walter (Diane) Clark of Bainbridge, Georgia, Robert Smart of Cairo, Georgia, Willie (Jackie) Smart of Bainbridge, Georgia, Martin Jackson, Jr., George (Doris) Jackson, Tyrone Jackson, James (Joanna) Jackson and Jerome Jackson all of Cairo, Georgia; One daughter, Shelly Jackson of Baconton, Georgia; Two sisters, Earlene Addison of Whigham, Georgia, and Zella Mae Carter of New York; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
