It is with a humble heart that we announce the passing of Timothy Thomas of Valdosta, Georgia.   

Mr. Timothy Nathaniel Thomas was born to Deacon Willie James (Joe) Thomas and the late Princetta Thomas on August 8, 1965 and passed this life on Tuesday, March 22, 2017. He graduated from Thomasville High School class of 1984. He also attended FAMU. He was currently employed by Valdosta State University in the transportation Dept. He was previously employed by Grady County Board of Education Transportation Dept. and Cloud Funeral Home of Cairo, GA.

Tim moved to Valdosta, GA. in 2015. He married Dorothy LaTonia Mathis on December 21, 2015.

He leaves to cherish his loving and devoted wife, Dorothy LaTonia Thomas of Valdosta, Georgia; Son, Antwan (Shacoya) Thomas, Sr. of Thomasville, Georgia; Daughter, Jessica Princetta (Lamar Davis) Thomas of Thomasville, GA.; Three Grandsons, J’Marious Thomas, Antwan Thomas, Jr., King La’Kye Davis all of Thomasville, Georgia; a loving sister and brother-in-law Darlene and Frank Brinson; two devoted nephews, Franklin (Marcia) Brinson, and Justin (Pamela) Brinson; Mother-in-law, Doris Mathis of Valdosta, Georgia; Father-in-law, Bishop Willie J.(Pearl) Mathis; Brother-in-laws, Dion (Callie) Mathis, Darrell Mathis, Norris Costen, Willie James Mathis, Jr.; Sister-in-law Lonetta (Eddie) Bailey, Naesha Mathis, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
