“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”- ISAIAH 40:31
With most sincere sympathy, we formally announce the passing of Ms. Abiyauna Nicole Manning, who transitioned from this life on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
Abiyauna Nicole Manning was born on May 20, 2003, to Abio Rashad Manning and Kristy LeAnn Yaun, in Waco, Texas. She was energetic, curious, smart, and funny. She filled the room of every place she went with laughter. When she attended an elementary school in McGregor, Texas, she always wanted to be involved in every available activity. Dancing and acting were her greatest interests. She enjoyed ballet, jazz, and tap dancing.
Upon moving to Thomasville, Georgia, in 2010, she enrolled in the Thomas County School system. While at Cross Creek Elementary, she was enrolled in the honors program. She took pride in her accomplishments and would fall apart if she did not make an “A.”
After entering middle school, Abiyauna poured her continuous energy into athletic activities. She joined the tennis team and ran track up until the 8th grade. At that time, she became a competition cheerleader, and her position on the team was that of a flyer.
Abiyauna is survived by her parents, Abio and Kristy Manning, grandparents, Robert and Delores Blake of Thomasville, GA, Calvin and Teresa Yaun of McGregor, TX, Eddie and Christian Manning of Quitman, GA, sister: Krista Manning, brother: Marcus Yaun, Aunts: Ayahna Booker (John) of Thomasville, GA, Ana Russ of Waco, TX, Uncles: Akpan Manning, Odai Manning and uncle and brother adoption Joshua Blake all of Thomasville, GA. Abiyauna was blessed with a host of cousins and friends.
