Annie Ruth Perry Glenn was born on September 10, 1945 to the late Henry and Hattie Perry. She was a member of Popular Spring Missionary Baptist Church, Whigham and a graduate of Washington Consolidate High School Class of 1963. Mrs. Glenn wed Mr. Jessie Glenn on May 5, 2007. She departed this life on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Grady General Hospital, Cairo.

Survivors to cherish her memory include her husband Jessie A. Glenn of Bainbridge; son Gerald A. Smith; daughters Yvonne A. Williams and Alwanda T. Session (Nathaniel) all of Marietta, Lavensia V. Smith of Atlanta, Conzuela L. Usher (J. Ennis) and Shauntabia F. Willis (Joseph) all of Union City; brothers Sammy Perry of Cairo, Bradford Perry (Bonnie), George Perry (Julia), Edward Perry, and Franklin Perry all of Frankfort, IN; grandchildren Maurice L. Smith and Iversyn J. Session both of Cairo, Kaira Willis, Dru Willis, Miles Usher and Maxton Usher all of Union City and a host of in-laws, nephews, nieces, and other family members and friends.

CELEBRATION SERVICE

The funeral service of Annie Ruth Perry Glenn will be conducted Saturday, September 28, 2013, at 1:00 p.m., at Greater New Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, 216 3rd street, southwest,Cairo. Rev. Morris Evans, pastor; Rev.E. Matthew Faulk, officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Cemetery.
