Charles E. Foster, 96, of Oakland Drive, Cairo, GA, formerly of Bradenton, FL & Silver Creek, died Saturday, July 18th, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Darien Center, NY on September 6, 1918, the son of the late Fred and Florence (Dow) Foster.
He was a graduate of Silver Creek High School, Class of 1935, served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and was a Partner with the former Bonhoff & Foster, Inc. Silver Creek. Mr. Foster was a former member of the Tabernacle Church, Sarasota, FL
Survivors include two sons David L. (LeNoir) Foster, of Carollton, TX, Kenneth R. (Elaine) Foster, of Virginia Beach, VA and a daughter, Charleen (Randall) Carpenter, of Cairo, GA. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Mildred (Kohn) Foster, who died January 26, 2014, by 2 sisters Mabel Henris, Elizabeth Ramelow and by 4 brothers Thomas, George, Raymond & Arthur Foster.
