Mr. Charlie Gene Swan, Jr., the son of Mr. Charlie Swan, Sr. and Mrs. Arie Silas Swan, was born on March 16, 1940 in Mitchell County, Georgia.   He was united in Holy matrimony to the former Pearlie Mae Bell Swan. To this union two sons were born. Terry Lamar Swan preceded him in death. Also one granddaughter Margaret Denise Swan.  He departed this life Monday, August 1, 2016 at Bainbridge Health Rehab in Bainbridge, Georgia.  He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Pearlie Mae Bell Swan of Cairo, Georgia; one son, Lonnie Lynn Swan of Whigham, Georgia; four granddaughters, Renee Swan of Cairo, Georgia, Tina Swan and Rhonda Swan of Moultrie, Georgia, and Angel Swan of Whigham, Georgia. Two grandsons, Derrick Boles of Cairo, Georgia and Derry Lamar Swan of Whigham, Georgia. Two sisters, Dorothy Lee (Robert) Knight of Camilla, Georgia, Ida Nell (Freddy) Owens of Gainesville, Fl.; Two brothers, Charles Mitchell Swan of Gainesville, Fl. and Andrew Swan of Moultrie, Georgia with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
