Obituary

The arms of our Lord now surround this loving Myles Family as they say a loving farewell to their beloved:  Mrs. Clydie V. Myles.

Mrs. Myles transitioned from this life on Thursday, June 4,2020.

Clydie Victoria Rhem Myles (Vicky) daughter of the late Levi Rhem and Sophia Quartlebaum Rhem; and the granddaughter of the late James Walter Rhem and Clydie Victoria Rhem; Lissie Morer and Holman Colbert Quartlebaum was born September 26, 1957 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. She was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 4, 2020. She was a graduate of the Parochial Schools Saint Paul’s. She confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Saint Paul’s Catholic Church in south Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Later in life, Vicky moved to Cairo, Georgia where she was well known throughout the neighborhoods to many. She was a successful business owner of Myles Bait and Tackle and the once taxi service of Myles Taxi. Two of her greatest loves was her home cooked meals and playing cards with family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband,  Clyde Myles Jr; A daughter, Andrea L. Gray Leonard-Bey (Calvin) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; A son, Bilal Mashal of Riverdale, Georgia; One Godson, Shun Shaw of Miami, Florida; Stepdaughters, Sandy Young (Bill) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Lessie Jordan (Rob) of Richmond, Virginia; Anita Morris (Baron) of Richmond, Virginia; Grandchildren, Kiara Brown, Kyleef Brown, Ta'Leigha Mashal, Duron Darby, LaTina Pridemore, Dewayne Jordan Jr., Darren Jordan, Lorraine Jordan, Sandy Young, April Young, Baron Morris Jr., and Brian Morris.

Siblings, Lissie Rhem of Morton, Pennsylvania; Harriet Benson of Norristown, Pennsylvania; Gladys Rhem of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Diane Hosley (Tyrone) Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Leroy Rhem of Morton, Pennsylvania; Anthony Rhem (Sharon) of Durham, North Carolina;

Special friends, Loretta Bell Mobley , Jennifer Hardy, Eloise Sheppard, and Josephine White. Brother-in-law’s, Willie C. Myles, Jimmy Myles, Robert Myles, Greg Myles. Sister-in-law’s , Mary Myles Brown, Sandy Myles Vicks; all of Cairo, Georgia; And Sorthea Myles  of Saint Petersburg, Florida; four great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, , and friends. Preceding her in death, Willamae Darby, Corrine Darby, Caroline Darby, Laverne Rhem, Debra Rhem, Oscar Darby, Michael Darby, Levi Rhem, all of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
