Dorsey Gilbert

It is with extreme sorrow that Cloud Funeral Home; alongside this loving Gilbert Family, to announce to all that their beloved: Mr. Dorsey Gilber transitioned from this life on Monday, October 21, 2019. 

Dorsey “Hicks” Gilbert was born, January 7, 1947 in Cuthbert Randolph County, Georgia to the late Simon and Gladys Gilbert.

He was educated in the schools of Grady County Georgia, the Job Corp. and Thomas Technical College.  He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, A Purple Heart Recipient and a member of the American Legion Post 544.

His favorite pass time was telling jokes and driving his truck.

He was preceded in death by his parents a brother and a sister.

He leaves to cherish his memory, Three Sisters, His children, Grandchildren, Two Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and a Host of Friends.
