Everlene (Reed) Miller, the daughter of the late Douglas and Clara M. Huntley Reed was born February 2, 1948 in Miller County, Georgia.

Everlene confessed to Christ and joined the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Whigham, Georgia. She was called home to her heavenly father on October 5, 2015 while a patient at Capital Regional Medical Center, Tallahassee, Florida.

She leaves to celebrate her transitioning her husband Cleve McClendon of Havana, Fl.; Six daughters, Cynthia (Lorenzo) Miller of Havana, Fl., Penny (Alfred) Sykes of Havana, Fl., Melissa (Laphil) Miller Harvey of Tallahassee, Fl., Deljarnia Miller of Havana, Fl., Dione McClendon of Miami, Fl., and Katherine ( Quentin) Pugh of Orlando, Fl.; Four sons, W.C. (Joanne) Miller of Bainbridge, Ga., C.B. (Dana) Miller, Jr. of Tarpon Springs, Fl., Delray (Cheryl) Miller of Attapulgus, Ga., and Cleve (Toni) Miller of Havana, Fl; Seven brothers, Henry (Monica) Reed of Kingsville, Texas, Curtis (Georgia) Reed of Cairo, Ga., Clayton Reed of Geneva N.Y., Aubrey (Merlene) Reed of McCrayville, Ga., James (Annie) Jackson of Tallahassee, Fl., Jimmy (Clara Mae) Jackson of Reno, Ga., and Douglas (Jeanette) Reed of Tallahassee, Fl.; Six sisters, Christine (Thomas) Hardy of Rochester, N.Y., Janette (Simon) Jones of Tallahassee, Fl., Margie Maddox of Havana, Fl., Lucy (Willie) Brooks of Clearwater, Fl., Claretha (John) Johnson of Cairo, Ga., and Elizabeth Cosby of Bainbridge, Ga.; One aunt, Close Davis of Tallahassee, Fl. and one uncle Cecil (Bertha) Williams of Reno, Ga. Special friends Agnis Travis of Thomasville, Ga., and Elnora Dantley of Quincy, Fl.; Twenty-Four grandchildren, Twenty-Five great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and family and friends.
