Horace Carlow was born April 1, 1934 to the late Georgia Ann and Turner Carlow Sr. in Panama City Beach, Fl. He attended Grady County public schools. He later married Mary Jackson who preceded him in death in 2012. He worked for the city of Miami Beach, Florida until his retirement.

He leaves to cherish his memories: one son Napoleon (Jewline) Carlow of Miami, Florida. Special nieces, Mary Daniels (caregiver) ; Two grandsons, Napoleon Carlow, Jr. and Tayares Carlow of Miami, Fl. Four sisters Mattie B. Daniels and Geneva Ratcliff of Cairo, Ga., Emmaline Gurley of Calvary, Ga. and Pearl Butler of McCrayville, Ga. Special great nephew and great niece Donald Shaw and LaShonda Shaw of Miami, Fl. Three sister-in-laws, Mary Jackson and Mandy Higdon of Cairo, Ga, and Johnny Mae Carlow of Pompano Beach, Fl. 3 brothers who preceded him in death, Jessie Carlow, Turner Carlow Sr. and Lewis Carlow. A host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Homegoing Service For for Horace Carlow will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Cloud Funeral Home Chapel 335 1st Avenue. N.E. Cairo, Georgia. Interment at Crestview Cemetery.
