Mrs. Irene Larkin Morris was born to Mr. James and Louisa Larkin on April 26, 1950 in Hawkinsville, Georgia. She moved to Miami, Florida when she was seven years old and attended Rainbow Park Elementary,North Dade Middle, and graduated from Miami Carol City Senior High School. Irene also graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and a minor in Education. Between working and attending college she met the love her life, Edward Morris, Whom she has been married to for 42 years. They have three children together, Tyrone, Emerson, and Teandra; and one step son, Latroy.

Mrs. Morris was a phenomenal educator for 35 years who enjoyed helping all students. Every child she came in contact with loved her and have her the nickname, "Mother Morris". She served the students of North Dade Middle, North Miami Middle, and retired at Lake Stevens Middle School. After retiring from Miami Dade Public School system, she taught two years for Grady County Public School Systems at Cairo High School in Cairo, Georgia.

Mrs. Morris was a saved, Holy Ghost filled, Christian woman. She diligently spoke and lived what the Bible said. In 2001, she accepted her calling as an Evangelist to win souls and carry out God's word. Mrs. Morris lived by her famous quote, "Just Be Real". On Saturday, December 7, 2013, God called one of his warriors home to rest.

Mrs. Morris leaves her legacy through her children, Tyrone, Emerson (April), Teandra (Gregory), Latroy; grandchildren (Emoni, Trinity, Latroy Junior, Khadijak); siblings, Artis (Muriel) Mathis (Dorothy), Floyd (Jimmye), Horace (Phyllis), Pearl (James), James, Beatrice (Wilkie), Wimberly Larkin; and a host of nieces and nephews.
