James E. Walden, the son of the late John B. and Eddie M. McMillan Walden was born on September 21, 1941.

He was educated in the Grady County School System. He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Ms. Jessie Corker and two daughters were born from this union. Later he joined the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. He was also a member of the Ebenezer A.M.E Church, Whigham, Georgia. He was a car salesman for many years and sold many cars.

He was a loving father to two daughters Tracy Gatling of Cairo, GA., and Robin (Jeff) Coachman of Thomasville, GA.; Two brothers, Andrew (Reverend Gloria) Walden of Whigham, GA., and Richard (Daisy) Walden of Florance, South Carolina; an adopted sister Wanda (Tony) Jenkins of Valdosta, GA.; 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for James E. Walden are at 3 pm., Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Walden Cemetery in Whigham. The Rev. Gloria Walden will official.
