It is with most sincere sympathy that we formally announce the passing of, Mr. John Smith, Jr. who transitioned from this life on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

A TIME TO BE BORN

Through the infinite wisdom of the Creator, on August 26, 1962, a beloved child, John Smith, Jr. was born to John, Sr. and Beatrice
Jones-Smith. He was the oldest of three children born to that union.
A time to Build Up
John, affectionately known as “Johnny/John-John” or “J.C.” was born in Boston, Massachusetts. In his early years, he attended Boston Public Schools. However, he a graduate of Hingham High School in Hingham, Massachusetts. John was an avid sports fan, and he took pride in being a major part of the Hingham High School Varsity Basketball Team. Music was always his greatest passion. John quickly evolved into a popular local D.J. and putting together music groups helped push him towards his destiny of eventually becoming a music producer and gave birth to
TATT II Entertainment.

A Time to Plant

John was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, uncle, cousin, and friend. After meeting and marrying the mother of his children, he was
blessed with four biological children, whom he loved and adored deeply.

A Time for Every Purpose Under the Sun

While in pursuit of greater endeavors, John decided that his season in Boston was over, and he decided to relocate to Jacksonville, Florida.
After moving to Florida, Johnny began working at the Jacksonville Jaguars Football Stadium, devoting over two decades of his time, until his
passing. During his tenure at the stadium, Johnny held a management position with ASG Venues, and was credited with implementing and
developing new strategies and technological advancements which contributed to the overall success and operation of parking for the stadium,
city buildings as well as other sports and convention venues.

Johnny was naturally gifted and possessed creativity that encompassed everything needed to promote shows and concerts. He also had the unique ability to identify talent in others. As owner of his own recording studio, Johnny successfully promoted various artists, such as B. Weir and others in the industry.

A Time of Transition

On September 7, 2022, John transitioned from time to eternity. Although John’s logic and beliefs were non-traditional, he was deeply in touch with his spirituality and
stood strong in his beliefs. He was also committed to maintaining a holistic lifestyle, both spiritually and physically.

A Time to Mourn

Johnny was preceded in death by his loving parents, John Sr. and Beatrice Jones-Smith.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory; Special companion, Michelle Hamilton; Four biological
children, Amber, Teshevana, Tamicka, and Khiemel; Three bonus children, Reggie, Miranda
and Mironica; Two sisters, Joan (Rory) Smith-Trent and Jennifer Smith; One brother, David
(Shaneka) Smith; Seven Grandchildren, Aubrey, Everson, Joelle, Ariya, Ymir, Elidi and Eden;
Two nieces, Courtnay and Shelby; Three nephews, Corey, Michael and Davin; along with a host of
other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends, who are too many to
list by name.
