Johnny Will Johnson, (Alexander) was born on June 25, 1939 to the late Beatrice Johnson and Bill Alexander in Blakely, Georgia. He was educated in the Early County School System. He later moved to the Grady County Community where he worked as a farm cropper. To the union of Sylvia Davis, four children were born. He became a Christian at an early age. He was a member of the Saint Calvary Missionary Baptist where he served until his health began to decline. He departed this life on October 31, 2013.
He was preceded in death by wife: Mae Bell Johnson; Amanda Alexander, three sisters: Mae McGill, Doris Johnson, Helen Johnson; one brother: JT Johnson; one Grandson: John James Johnson, III.
To cherish his memories, he leaves two sons: Johnny James Johnson (Acer), of Macon, Georgia; Roy Chester Grace (Ernestine), of Belle Glade, Florida; three daughters: Deloris Smiley (Ernest), of Attapulgus, Georgia, Diane Keaton (Victor), of Quincy, Florida; Mary Curry (Mack), of Bainbridge, Georgia; one step-daughter: Maggie Veal of Macon, Georgia; five sisters: Jessie Mae Jackson of Quincy, Florida; Odessa Blackmon (John), of Dothan, Alabama; Mary Mosley of Huntsville, Alabama, Clara Macomb (Tommy), of Miami, Florida; Catherine Jackson of Cairo, Georgia; one step-sister: Louise Alexander of Donaldsonville, Georgia; three brothers: Willie Johnson of Donalsonville, Georgia; IT Johnson (Dorothy), of Virginia Beach; James Johnson of Bainbridge, Georgia.
CELEBRATION SERVICE
The funeral service of Johnny Johnson Alexander will be conducted 1:00pm Saturday, November 9, 2013, at St. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church 346 Higdon Rd Calvary, GA
