Brother Jonas Manning, Jr. was called to rest on Wednesday, December 24th, 2014. Jonas Manning, Jr. was born June 24, 1944 to the late Edna Moore and Jonas Manning, Sr. of Cairo, Ga.

He loves to mourn a son, William cooper (Patricia) of Cairo, Georgia. Five brothers; Lanis Adams of Cairo, Georgia, Warren Manning, Sr. (Lillie) of Thomasville, Georgia, Roger Manning, Sr. (Elizabeth) of Cairo, Georgia, Melvin Manning (Lillie) of Burlington, North Carolina, Napoleon Daniels of Cairo, Georgia. Eight sisters; Lucille Moore of California, Emma Moore (Charles) of Cairo, Georgia, Marion Montgomery of Cairo, Georgia, Onita Howard (Caesar) of Chicago, Illinois, Ruby Scott of Daytona, Florida, Shirley Ann Jones (Eddie), Susie McNeil (Herman), Joyce Hunter all of Cairo, Georgia. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A faithful friend Caroline Adams. One Uncle Issac Evers (Alice) of Cairo, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Funeral Services for Jonas Manning, Jr. will be held Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at New Grady Missionary Baptist Association Building, 204 Church Street S.W. Reverend Eddie Jackson, Jr., Officiating. Interment at Crestview Cemetery, Hwy 84 East, Cairo, Ga.
