Funeral Services for Mr. Larry E. Wade

Larry was born on February 6, 1956 to Harvey Wade and Mattie L. Wade. He attended and graduated from the Decatur County School System. Larry was employed with Milwhite/ Zemex Mining Company for over 30 years. He was presently working with Air Conditioning Technology in Thomasville, Georgia.

Larry accepted Christ at an early age joining Lily Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Climax, Ga. He also attended St. Clair Primitive Baptist Church in Cairo, Ga. Larry loved and worshiped our savior Jesus Christ. He provided lawn services to both St. Luke and St. Clair Church.

He departed this life on Sunday, October 12, 2014. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Louise Diane Wade of Whigham, Ga. Together they loved and shared three children: Demonta (QuaShundria) Higdon of Ft. Valley, Ga., Chrishunda (Bryant) Dawson of Cairo, Ga., and Da'Keidres Wade of Whigham, Ga. Five grandchildren,: Kentravian Hardy, and Bryant Dawson, Jr., and Stefani Re'Nai Dawson all of Cairo, Ga., Kaleb and Kelton Higdon both of Ft. Valley, Ga.

His mother Mattie L. Wade of Climax, Ga., his mother-in-law Mother Mandy Higdon of Whigham, Ga., brothers Jerome (Lisa) Wade and Charles Wade both of Climax, Ga. Sisters, Rutha Bell Wade of Tacoma, Washington, Christine (Parless) Smiley of Lakeland, Tenn., Norvia (Clinton) Stubbs of Bainbridge, Ga. Brother-in-laws, Deacon Wesley (Elder Annette) Higdon of Cairo, Ga., Vicky (Beverly) Flowers of Climax, Ga., Mathis McCoggle of Tampa, Fl. Sister-in-laws, Virginia Williams of Tampa, Fl., and Wilona Wade of Bainbridge, Ga., Luevinna Wade of Sardis, Ga. Aunts Mary (Pair) Cooper of Climax, Ga., Regina Anders of West Palm Beach, Fl., Essie Mock of Climax, Ga., Laura Davis of Wilmington, Del., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A very special friend Herbert Smiley of Bainbridge, Ga.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Wade, father-in-law Deacon Norman Higdon, Jr., two brothers Nathaniel Wade and Joseph Wade, sister-in-law Judy R. Wade and brother law Tyrone "Pop" Higdon.

Celebration of Life Service:

Service for Mr.Larry E. Wade will be conducted Saturday October 18, 2014 3:00 p.m. at St. Clair Primitive Baptist Church 1190 Calvary Road Cairo. Interment to follow at Walden Cemetery Whigham, Georgia.
