It is with a humble heart that the staff and management of Cloud Funeral Home announce the transition of the late:  Mrs. Lois Golden Johnson who crossed the golden bar into eternal rest on Sunday, July 21, 2019. 

It is at this time that we ask you, to continue to pray with and for the Johnson and Golden Family's as they process the lost of Mrs. Lois on this side, but heavens gain on the other side.

Mrs. Lois Golden-Johnson was born on September 14, 1955, in Calvary, GA.  She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Golden Sr. and Mother Lillie  Mae Youmas-Golden.  She was educated in the Gadsden Public School System and employed by Leon County School System from 1997-1999.  She accepted Christ as her personal Savior on Wednesday July 26, 1972, and was a faithful member of New St. Mary M.B. Church until her death. She was converted under the Rev. W.M. Maxwell until his death.  After the death of Rev. W.M. Maxwell, she served as a faithful member under the leadership of Rev. William Hinson (2007-2013) and the Rev. James Youmas (from 2013 until the present).  She was married to Mr. Bennie Frank Johnson on March 8, 1980.

 

She leaves to mourn her passing, a devoted and caring husband, Bennie Frank Johnson; One Son, Mark A. Golden (Jessica) of Atlanta, GA. ;Faithful Niece, Barbara Williams of Tallahassee, FL; Six Brothers, Willie (Vanessa) Golden of Live Oak, FL, Elder Charlie (Katherine) Golden of Detroit, MI.; Michael (Lillie) Golden of TOC South Korea; Eddie Golden of Tallahassee, FL.; Clifford Golden and Kenneth Golden of Detroit MI.; Four Sisters, Clara Golden (Lee John) Hayes of Tallahassee, FL. ;Viola Golden of Detroit MI. ;Cora Lee Golden and Mary F. Golden of Tallahassee, FL. Lois Spivey of Tallahassee, FL ; Four Sister-n-laws, Katherine Salter of Pompano, FL; Clara Byrd of Quincy, FL; JoAnn Battle of Tallahassee, FL; Ruth Johnson and Mamie Johnson of Tallahassee, FL.; Four Grandchildren, Antwan, Demetrious, Alicia Golden of Tallahassee, FL., Noel Golden of Atlanta, GA.; God children, Bridgett Jackson of Tallahassee, FL.; Samonia Zam of Havana, FL.; and Johnny Bozman Jr. of Ocala, FL.; Seven Aunts, Emma Franklin of Tallahassee, FL; Mildred McGill of Miami, FL. ;Rev. Leverk Youmans, Rev. Patricia Smith, Gloria Youmans, Charlene Youmans, Mariah Youmans of Ocala, FL.; Three Uncles, Larry Youmans, Abron Youmans, Fred Youmans of Ocala, FL. ;Six Great-Grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, great nephews and other relatives and sorrowing friends who will truly miss her.  A Special Friend, Benita Williams of Havana, FL.

 

Preceding her death, Father and Mother, Benjamin Golden Sr. and Mother Lillie Mae Youmas- Golden, Three Brothers, Hilton, Leroy and Benjamin Jr. Golden.
