Lottie Scott Obituary

 It is with most sincere sympathy that we formally announce the passing of Miss. Lottie Mae Scott.  Miss. Scott transitioned from this life on Thursday, September 17, 2020.

The path of the LORD’s Devine Purposive Will concerning the life journey of Lottie Mae Scott began on September 9, 1952.  She was entrusted into the care of her loving parents, the late Robert Fulton Scott Sr. and Rosa Lee Scott. Their homestead at her birth was Whigham, Georgia. She was reared in Whigham, Georgia and attended Whigham Elementary School.  Lottie Mae also attended Cairo High School and was a 1971 graduate of Whigham High School.  She attended Thomasville Technical College where she received her dietician certification.  

  She later moved to Fort Walton Beach, Florida and lived there for two years. While living there, she was an active member of Christ Gospel Church in Fort Walton Beach.  Lottie then moved to St. Petersburg Florida.  She was an employee of College Harbor Retirement Center for thirty-three years where she was a dietician.

Lottie was a loyal, devoted, and supportive member of Christ Gospel Church in Pinellas Park, Florida for over thirty-three years. She faithfully served on the Nursing Home Outreach Team for several years.  She also served as a deaconess for several years. Once she moved back to Whigham, GA she also attended Christ Gospel Church, Cairo, GA.

The last mile of her journey on Earth ended September 17, 2020.

She was preceded in death by Robert Fulton Scott Sr (father), Rosa Lee Scott (mother), Arlie Ruth Scott (sister), Robert Futon Scott Jr (brother).

 She leaves to cherish her memories

Rashida Scott, Albany, GA, Shania Butler, Camilla GA  Nephews:  Richard Price (Rose), Pensacola, FL, John Price (Trenise) Bainbridge, GA, Samuel Price Quincy, FL, Alex Price, Whigham, GA. and a host great, great, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
