It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Neil Anderson of Cairo, Georgia.  Mr. Anderson was gifted back to the Lord on Friday, December 30th, 2016 in Thomasville, Georgia .

Neil D. Anderson, Sr., 56, of Cairo, was born to Lorene Anderson and the late Elijah Williams on February 26, 1960 in Grady County.

He was married to Carrie Ruth Williams Anderson. Neil worked at Roddenberry for years and later at Seminole Marine, Inc. until his health failed. Neil joined Beautiful Light Missionary Baptist Church and served faithfully in the choir for a few years.  He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him and loved him. He answered heaven’s call on December 30, 2016.

 Neil is survived by his wife, Carrie Anderson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughters, Christy (John) Mango of Oklahoma and T’keyah Anderson of Thomasville, GA.; Sons, Tyrone (LaToya) Evers of Japan, Neil (Gisela)Anderson, Jr. of New Orleans, and Allen Anderson of Oklahoma; Sisters, Cynthia Williams of  Cairo, GA., Elaine Williams of Thomasville, GA., Sandra Collier of Baconton, GA., Vera Daniels of Sale City, GA., and Janice Green of Thomasville, GA.; Brothers, Earnest Green of South Carolina, Sonny Williams of Cairo, GA., Franklin Robinson of El Mirage, AZ., and Giovanni (Wanda) Anderson of Cairo, GA.; 11 grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
