It is with most sincere sympathy that we formally announce the passing of, Mr. Noah Curtis, Jr. of Calvary, Georgia. Mr. Curtis passed on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at his residence.
Noah Curtis, Jr. was born to the late Willie Mae Jones and Noah Curtis, Sr. on March 16, 1952, in Grady County Georgia. He was a 1970 graduate of Washington Consolidated High School.
He confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of St. Calvary M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. E.E. Mitchell. He worked as a Grady County Animal Control Officer until his health failed. “Jaw Boy” answered the call of his heavenly father on September 11, 2018.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters Diane Tims (Robert) of Cairo, Ga., Condremeka Curtis of Tallahassee, Fla. and Yashika Curtis of Whigham, Ga.; One son Raleigh Willis of Atlanta, Ga.; Two Sisters Tammy and Franklin Jones of Calvary, Ga. One brother Darrin Jones (Lydia) of Tallahassee, Fla. Grandchildren Tavish Knight, Robert Tims Jr. Addysen Curtis, Ava Sailor, Messiah Willis, Je’loni Smith and one great-grand Tavish Knight, Jr. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends. Two sisters preceded him in death Linda Williams and Sharon Jones.
