Otis E. Gibson was born on February 18, 1940 in Tampa, Florida to the late Mr. Romary Daniel Gibson & Maude Peacock Gibson. He received his education in the Doughtery County School System and worked as a mechanic for most of his life. He married Ollie Jackson early in life but spent his later years with Ms. Rosa Parrish. Otis leaves to cherish his precious memories: two daughters, Tereka (Tiffany) Gibson of Hinesville, Georgia and Valiere (Darnell) Howell of Albany, Georgia, and a son Ronald (Caroline) Brown of Albany Georgia. His grandchildren Tierra, Taliyah, Dwan (Allena), Donovan, Darian, Dannielle, Drake, Denver, Domonique, Ronald Jr., Rania, Raven, Kennedy & Megan.

He gained the love of Rose's five children, Bobby Parrish of Climax, Georgia, Ricky (Jennette) Parrish of Bainbridge, Georgia, Gregory (Denise) Parrish of Climax, Georgia, Anthony (Reyonna) Parrish of Tallahassee, Florida & Veronica (Trent) Miller of Bainbridge, Georgia. 22 Grandchildren, 21 Great grandchildren and numerous sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.

Funeral services for Otis Edward Gibson will be conducted Saturday 3:30 P.M. January 17, 2015 at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 442 Piney Grove Road in Whigham, Georgia. Rev. Harry Mitchell Pastor. Internment at Open Pond Cemetery Climax, Georgia.
