The funeral service for Mr. Robert Christopher Jerome Phillips will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Cloud Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Walden Cemetery, Whigham, Georgia. Reverend Leon H. Hall, Eulogist.

Mr. Robert Christopher Jerome Phillips, 32, transitioned from this earthly life unexpectedly on July 29, 2016 in Greensboro, NC.  He was born March 13, 1984 in Daly City, California to Walter Jerome and Christine Morman Phillips.

He confessed Christ as his personal savior at an early age. He was a former member at First Baptist Church of Nutley in Nutley, NJ.

Robert was a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC class of 2002. He enjoyed playing sports and was a member of Nation Ford Baptist Church of Charlotte, North Carolina basketball team. 

Those left to cherish fond and loving memories are his daughter, Symirah Rakii Bunting-Phillips of New York, NY; his parents, Walter Jerome and Christine Phillips of Waxhaw, NC; two sisters, Latrice Phillips of Charlotte, NC and Lakeshia (Leon) Marshall of Hayward, CA; one brother, Walter Jerome Phillips, Jr. of California; one special niece, Zekhaliyah Phillips of Waxhaw, NC; six aunts, one uncle, one great uncle; and a host of nieces, nephews, many devoted cousins and friends.
