Robert F. Scott, Jr.

The arms of our Lord now surround the family of Mr. Robert Scott, Jr. Mr. Scott passed on Friday, September 4, 2020

Robert Fulton Scott Jr. was born on July 27, 1959 in Whigham Georgia to the late Robert and Rosa Scott. Their homestead at his birth was Whigham, Georgia. He was reared in Whigham, Georgia and attended Whigham Elementary School where he completed his elementary studies.  Robert Fulton Scott Jr was a 1977 graduate of Whigham High School. In 1977 Robert and lifelong friend Verdice Moment Dudley gave birth to their daughter Rashida Scott. In 1977 he enlisted in the United States Army and served 6 years in the armed forces. After serving in the military he attended Bainbridge Junior College and earned his associate degree in master mechanics. For several years, Robert worked at White Nursery, Cairo, GA. Robert also worked as a day laborer with Bonds Septic Service for several years. In 1995 Robert met Tina Mechelle Butler and they were married in 1997.

He was preceded in death by Robert Fulton Scott Sr (father), Rosa Lee Scott (mother), Arlie Ruth Scott (sister), Julia Butler (mother-in-law), Jermaine Octavius Butler (son), David Lee Butler (son).

Robert was a generous, hardworking, and fun-loving man. He made a lasting impression on anyone that he met. He leaves to cherish his memories:

Whigham, GA; Lottie Mae Scott, Whigham, GA; Earlene Gray (Gregory), Warner Robins, GA.  Sister In Laws: Annie (Earl) Drakes, Camilla GA; Shana (Lee) Hawkins, Albany, GA Brother In Laws: Charlie Lee (Bonnie) Robert, Macon, GA; Lee Butler, Sylvester, GA; Billy (Ericka) Freeman, Macon, GA Like a Brother: Terry (Tangie) Spooner, Camilla, GA Nieces: Leatha Humphrey (Robert) Arlington, GA, Brenda Johnson (Larry), Havana, FL, Sharon Price, Havana, FL, Tracy Lockwood (Richard), Quincy FL, Esther Smith (Fred), Attapulgus, GA, Katorah (Michael) Garrett, Valdosta, GA.
