It is with most sincere sympathy that we formally announce the passing of our beloved Victoria Marion Jackson, who transitioned from this life on Friday, June 17, 2022.
Victoria Marion Jackson was born July 25, 1930 to the late Mary Joe Marion and Amos Marion in Grady County, Georgia.
She was united in holy matrimony to the late Cleveland Jackson. They lived in Orlando, Florida for many years. After moving back to Cairo, Georgia she reunited with the Beulah Missionary Baptist Church.
She cherished his family and worked diligently to ensure that they were given the best love, care, and material comforts. Her love and devotion not only touched family members but friends all around. The life she lived was full of love, laughter and generosity to her family and her many friends. She will forever live in the hearts and memories of those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter: Jacqueline D. Johnson of Cairo, Georgia; sons, Larry Glenn (Ann), Orlando, Florida; Shelton Jackson, Cairo, Georgia; grandchildren: Marvin, Anthony, Tanita, and Cynethia Anderson all reside in Massachusetts; great grandchildren: Antoine Bryan, and Dwayne Johnson, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends, special friends and family Joan and Joel Strickland, Orlando, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Cleveland Jackson, sisters: Lillie Mae Cheatham, Susie Mae Doss, and Belinda Hicks, brothers: Sammie Williams and Fred Williams
