The late Virginia McClinton, knowns to many as Sista, was born in Grady County to the late Reverend P.R. Anders and Carrie Myles Anders in Whigham, Georgia on April 21st, 1943. Sister Virginia mother died when she was young, she was raised by her beloved father, Reverend P.R. Anders. Sister Virginia received her education from Washington Consolidated high school.
Later in Life, Virginia moved to Decatur Ga. While in Decatur, she became a member of the Sunnyside Baptist Church, where she was involved in many activities in the church. Virginia was a faithfully member until her heath fail.
Sister Virginia leaves to cherish her memories, Son Carven Dean (Marie) Anders of Virginia, Daughter, Karen (Reverend Michael) Cromartie, Whigham, Georgia. Eight Grandkids, Two Great grands. Sister: Betty Williams-Green Cove Springs Florida, Mable Wilson-West Palm Beach Fla, Williams (Eloise) Anders-Cairo, Georgia. Two Sisters in Law, Carrie Anders-Whigham, Georgia, Regina Anders, West Palm Beach Florida. Three special Adopted friends who call her grandma, Kendra Howard, Sariyah Collins, Aaron Oliver, all of Atlanta Georgia, Godson Tony Taylor of North Carolina. Other friends, Barbara, Helen, Larry, Lawanda, Jenna, all of Atlanta Georgia.
She was proceeded in death by her son, Mac Arthur McClinton Jr., Grandson-Joshua Cromartie, and her beloved siblings, Elmore, James, Daisy, David, Dorothy, and Joseph.
