He was fiercely devoted to his family and multi generational friends; always willing to help others, often times to the detriment of himself. Although not a biological parent or grandparent, he readily stepped into that role with many of his nieces, nephews, stepchildren and grandchildren.
Mr. Robinson the son of the late Mal and Mamie Murray Robinson was born in Cairo, Georgia on March 10, 1942.
He attended the Grady County public school system, and was a devoted employee of the W.B. Roddenberry Company, Wight's Nursery, and the Grady County Road Department until retirement.
After his retirement he started a lawn care service which he was extremely devoted to, and proud of.
He leaves to mourn his passing two brothers, Ray (Pearlina) Robinson of Detroit, Michigan; Houston Robinson of Cairo, Georgia; three sisters, Annie Mae Corker of Cairo, Rosetta Richardson of Green Cove Springs, Florida and Earnestine Washington of Cairo; stepchildren, Bruce (Loretta) Cotton and Terri (Aaron) Edwards of Cairo; his daily caregivers; a nephew, Freddie Corker, and a devoted friend, Pearline Thompson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and sorrowing friends.
His long time companion Geneva Miles and siblings; James Robinson, Sr., Oscar Robinson, Walter Robinson, Eddie Robinson and Annette Robinson proceeded him in death.
