Services for Ms. Willie Mae Jones of Calvary will be held at 2:00 p.m. on December 23, 2012 at St. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Calvary. Rev. C.J. Henry will officiate services with interment to follow at McNair Cemetery in Climax. Pallbearers will be Emory Harrison, Eric Swatts, Charles Maynor, Derrick Swatts, Maurice Adams and Waymon Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of St. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Ms. Jones was born on November 10, 1934 in Calvary to the late Will and Ida Swatts. She was a member of St. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Calvary and attended Grady County Public Schools. She was a lifelong resident of Grady Co. and she departed this life on Monday, December 17, 2012 at her home. Survivors to cherish her memory include her daughter Tammy Jones of Calvary; Franklyn Jones, sons Darrin Jones and Noah Curtis all of Calvary; aunt Christine Swatts of Tallahassee, FL; friends Carrie Johnson and Emma L. Gurley of Calvary and Margaret Peters of Cairo; 14 grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
