Yvonne Fitchett

It is with most sincere sympathy that we formally announce the passing of Yvonne Fitchett who transitioned from this life on Sunday, March 12, 2023.

On Sunday, March 12, 2023, Jehovah called Yvonne, 57, from this life of pain and suffering into her eternal rest at Piedmont Macon Hospital in Macon, Georgia. Yvonne was born on June 29, 1965, in Camden, New Jersey to the late Emily Vann Fitchett. Upon her mother's demise she was adopted and raised by her Uncle John Washington (Gloria) of Clearwater, Florida.

Yvonne was true to who she was, and while she was hilarious, she was a loyal person who loved hard and taught many people important life lessons. She was a believer in Jehvoah and trusted His move in her life.

Yvonne birthed six children into the world: JoAnne Amelia Washington (Dominique), Adia Mandishia Washington, Thomas Joseph “TJ” Washington, Dionne Shanti Hill, Mercedeas Lee James-Simmons (Tedarrean), and Benjamin Brandon Edwards. Yvonne was preceded in death by her children: Adia, TJ, and Dionne; her mother Emily; and her sisters Alice Sloan, and Margaret Jean Brown.  

Yvonne leaves to Cherish her loving memories; Brothers: Curtis L. Vann (Annie Pearl) of Tallahassee, FL. and Roosevelt Fitchett (Annie) of Columbus Ga. Sister: Lillian Elizabeth Fitchett (Roger) of Pennsgrove, PA. A loyal and dedicated cousin and best friend, Lisa Atkins of Cairo, GA. A very loyal, loving, caring companion, and provider Rickie Davis of Macon GA. She also leaves to cherish her homegoing a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
